Travels To Charleston: The Farmer’s Market

Every year, team BashBLOK takes a trip to the fabulous historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. We love the laid back atmosphere, seemingly endless shopping and delicious restaurants all of which keeps us coming back again and again. One of our favorite stops is the Farmer’s Market at Marion Square. Every week, butchers, bakers, candlestick makers and many more set up shop to bring all the delights of the season. A highlight for us on this visit was the team of break dancers. Oh how the crowd went wild!

A team BashBLOK favorite, Zola Jewelry. The perfect place to find a fabulous hostess gift or even a gift for yourself.

In the market for a beautiful piece of art to remind you of your Charleston travels? Look no further than the offerings from marine biologist and local artist, Amanda McLenon. Amanda perfectly captures coastal creatures in her selection of prints, pillows and paintings.

No Farmer’s Market visit is complete without picking up fresh produce. We couldn’t resist the offerings from Freeman Farms. A bag of peaches was definitely in order!

We concluded our day at the Farmer’s Market with the entertaining stylings of a break dancing group. A little Usher, Justin Timberlake and head spins were the perfect way to conclude our visit.
