Valentine’s Day is around the corner and at BashBLOK, we know a thing or two about properly celebrating the holiday devoted to love. The cliche last minute flowers and heart shaped boxes of candy simply will not do. We think loved ones deserve even a small amount of preparedness. Fear not, our Valentine’s picks are not an ongoing list of extravagant grand gestures. Sometimes it truly is the little things that count most so get ready to knock the socks off your special someone.

Remember our post featuring the Ultimate BBQ Bash? Well, it's that time of year again...Pattypalooza 2016 to be hosted at Maplewood Farm in Lascassass, Tennessee benefiting the American Lung Association. Guests can enjoy award winning BBQ, ribs and a seemingly endless supply of delicious, homemade desserts all while dancing to a lineup of great music. The best part? All is complimentary and the event will be raising awareness and taking donations for the American Lung Association. This year's musical lineup includes Midnight Wranglers, Music City Dixieland Band, Old Man Jam Band, Snakehips, Power Play, Doc-In-A-Box and Salty Dawgs. Team BashBLOK will be there...join us!

Every year, team BashBLOK takes a trip to the fabulous historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. We love the laid back atmosphere, seemingly endless shopping and delicious restaurants all of which keeps us coming back again and again. One of our favorite stops is the Farmer's Market at Marion Square. Every week, butchers, bakers, candlestick makers and many more set up shop to bring all the delights of the season. A highlight for us on this visit was the team of break dancers. Oh how the crowd went wild!

We love the hustle and bustle of city life but sometimes it's nice to have an excuse to get away. Happening this weekend is Milton, Georgia's 'Crabapple Fest', an annual event featuring dozens of antique dealers, artists and seemingly endless amounts of delicious food.  Just north of Atlanta, Milton embraces rural living and preserving small town heritage. Our very own BashBLOK CEO and Co-Founder, Brittany Garman will be attending this exciting event. You might find her visiting with local artists and vendors or volunteering at the Canine Assistants booth and, most likely, will have a cute puppy in tow. Be sure to stop by to say hello. She'd love to meet you and give tips on planning your next event or picking up that perfect hostess gift from the festival.
