Every year, team BashBLOK takes a trip to the fabulous historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. We love the laid back atmosphere, seemingly endless shopping and delicious restaurants all of which keeps us coming back again and again. One of our favorite stops is the Farmer's Market at Marion Square. Every week, butchers, bakers, candlestick makers and many more set up shop to bring all the delights of the season. A highlight for us on this visit was the team of break dancers. Oh how the crowd went wild!

It's Fall, our favorite time of year! Even more of a favorite for team BashBLOK is Halloween. This spooky holiday allows our DIY team to get super crafty, creative and lends the opportunity to use glow-in-the-dark paint. To get ready for our upcoming 'All Hallow's Eve' Bash we have prepared a very quick and easy pumpkin centerpiece. The majority of these items for this craft were purchased at Michael's for under $50 with coupons and fall decor promotions. Can't beat that! Follow step-by-step and learn how to recreate this pumpkin display for your next Spooky Bash!

It's not a party unless your are greeted by a very large stuffed giraffe! Jenny Pak and her team of talented designers and florists expertly collaborated to create a truly magnificent first birthday for her son, Josiah. We are so in love with this safari themed bash including gold painted toy animal accessorized with party hats, soft and sophisticated floral arrangements anchored by burlap table runners and the best part, safari hats for the guests. This first birthday bash was definitely a smash! Read more about this special day on the Hostess with the Mostess Blog.

At BashBLOK, we absolutely love the style and distinction of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco Eras. Combining the curves of Nouveau and the geometrics of Deco we are quite taken by these invitation designs from Ceci New York. But, this glorious combination does not have to stop with stationary. Check out the BashBLOK picks for this fabulous mix, perfect for making yourself and your home bash ready.

At BashBLOK, we think good manners goes a long way. Whether it be at the dinner table, a social gathering or the board room, common courtesy and kindness is always a must. We may not dress for dinner or use the correct fork for salad anymore but the importance making a good impression still carries on. Check out our top picks for tips on etiquette, charm and elegance.

Fellas, ever notice how lonely the pocket of your suit jacket looks? Well, let it be lonely no more by learning the art of the pocket square. This is an easy trend to adopt as pocket squares can be inexpensive and pretty easy to place in your pocket. Check out the easy-to-follow guide to folding and our top pocket square picks.

At BashBLOK, we are always on the lookout for a killer deal. One of our favorite retailers, Nordstrom, is just days away from their most popular sale of the year. Why is this sale so exciting? It is brand new merchandise at major discounts! You can snag an array of items perfect for your next bash at nearly half the cost. Get ready, this event starts July 17th and ends August 3rd. See some of our top picks for getting bash ready and check out the guide to shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale from Bubbles and Ink.

Oui, we are so in love! Inspired by the romance and elegance of Paris, this 'Le Jardin' themed bash was definitely a smash.
